DD does okay with her sippy cup. I usually offer the sippy at dinner time and she chews on the little nub and sucks a bit, so I think she is getting the hang of it. Practice makes perfect, right?
In terms of her "ba"...that's definitely still her favorite!
DD does well with sippy cups but she seems to get excited with she actually get something and lets it dribble out of her mouth. She's been holding her bottle like a pro for a while, it's going to be hard for her to completely drop the bottle.
Lucky Lady! My DD will NOT hold her own bottle, one hand if I put the gripper thing on, but other than that she looks at me like "Fool, YOU hold my baba i'm way too cute for that" ha ha
DS does well with a straw sippy and regular sippy. Sometimes he needs help with the "tipping back" part though. He can hold his own bottle, but usually refuses to do it. In a month or two I'm going to swap out the afternoon bottle with a sippy and see how he does. I'm packing them up at 12 months when we switch to milk - no if's and's or but's.
Bar tab = $156,000, Bus to Foxwoods = $0, Puking in the Stanley Cup = Priceless
Isaac's a pro at holding his own bottle, though as PP noted sometimes I have to help him tip it far enough back.
He'll start getting a sippy cup in the next couple of days and I think he'll like that since he's very, very interested in whatever is in the cup we're holding.
