Crib that doesn't scratch easily?

One thing I have noticed in crib reviews... it seems like every crib scratches/ dents easily.  Are there any that you have used that can stand up to a little abuse? Oh, and that are under $400?

  • We have a Natart crib for DS, and it still looks the same as the day we bought it - even through teething.  He definitely chewed on his crib (although not a ton) and it still looks very new.  We're very happy with the quality of the crib, and will be buying the same brand this next time around.  I think it was in the $400 range - maybe a little more expensive, but definitely worth it.

  • I don't know, our crib was a gift from my Daddy and he bought the whole set of craigslist. I loved it but Casey broke it one night putting Ian to bed.
  • Hmmm, I didn't even think of this, I'll have to keep this in mind!

  • Our crib is from Ikea.  It looks brand new and DD has been sleeping/playing it in for 2.5 years.  It was only $100.  But it's white.  You might want to check out their other cribs though if white isn't your thing.
  • We used the Graco Lauren crib. We saw it at Babies R Us and then found it cheaper on Amazon (about $130). My daughter will be 3 in May and still sleeps in it - and it doesn't have a scratch! It also looks better in person. It doesn't stand out online next to all the $400 sleigh beds, but it looks great set up in her room. We have had great luck with it!
