doing a mommy & me swim class tomorrow? Help

what do I put my little guy in? does he wear a diaper, normal diaper? I have swim trunks but Im thinking of putting a onesie on him with all the chemicals in the pool, what do you think? Is it inapporiate for me to wear a 2 piece or should I wear a one piece?

Oh and I cant believe I have to get in a swimsuit tomorrow...YUCK!

For him, they sell swim diapers, I just got DD a pack (FYI - they are spendy!).  For you, I would wear whatever you feel comfortable in.  I feel more comfortable in a tankini than a one piece.  We are starting one next month!  Enjoy

I would look up where you are taking the class and see if they have any rules online.  Some places require swim diapers and a plastic liner, some don't. 

Also swim trunks and one of those swim shirts 

For you, whatever is comfortable.  I probably wouldn't recomend a  tini-bikini though.....  a regular two peice is fine

ps- some pools won't allow onesies, they require suits.  So I would definitely find out their rules.

I would check with the swim class what the requirements are for the swim trunks and diaper. The class that DS takes required us to purchase swim trunks that had a built in swim diaper.

I would where whatever swimsuit you are comfy in. Have fun!

He needs to wear some kind of swim diaper.  We have a reusable one but you can buy disposables too.  You should find out what their rules are though like PPs mentioned.

I wouldn't bother with the onesie.  He's not going to be exposed to any less chemicals if he wears one.  DS just wears swim trunks over the swim diaper.  For your swimwear I think it's fine if you want to wear a 2 piece as long as it's not really skimpy.

Is there a Whole Foods around you?  Around here they sells the iPlay reusable swim diapers in the baby section.

We just finished a six week mommy and me session with DD, and it was a blast!  They place we went let DH get in too, which was nice.  It was a fun activity for the whole family!  It was definitely helpful to have him there, so I would bring someone (even if they don't want to swim), just to help get LO dressed while you get dressed, etc.  We had to put DD in swimmy diapers, which we bought at Target.  Have fun!
