WWYD re: formula over 24 hours old

I left DD's bottle at daycare today. I'm made them each night before so it will be about 36 hours old first thing tomorrow. I'm assuming just toss it but wwyd? Sorry if this is a rookie mistake. I'm still kinda new to formula. Thanks!!

  • I'd toss it.

  • I always toss it after 24 hours. I know it's painful to waste it because formula is so expensive, but better safe than sorry.

  • If it's refrigerated and she hasn't taken a sip out of it (no bacteria in it) I'd use it.

In fact, I've done that before.

This is a test. This is only a test.

This.  I think my can even says 48 hours if not drank out of, but once she puts her mouth on it then it has to be used within an hour.
