Don't feel a thing...

Other than still beaing queasy, especially, when I'm late with my zofran, I don't feel a thing.  No flutters, no bump, nothing.  Will someone calm my nerves and tell me all is fine?  My last appt was almost three weeks ago, and I'm being a nervous lady today.

Re: Don't feel a thing...

  • that's because you've reached the 2nd trimester - where your hormones level out some. It's normal to feel like your "normal" self again. And I still don't have a "real" bump yet either. Not to worry!

  • I'm 15 weeks with my second. I figured I would feel everything sooner because I know what it's like this time. Still haven't felt anything other than the discomfort from everything inside swelling and expanding. And I'm still queasy without the zofran too. My doctor said he doesn't expect me to feel anything until 18-20 weeks but I'm still waiting hopefully for the little flutters. I always get nervous about 3 weeks after my appointments too. I really want to go to the doctor every week and just be like "Let me hear the heartbeat to reassure me."

  • ease your mind all the flutters, and decent sized bump wont really come for another few weeks. enjoy feeling better. good luck.
  • It's totally normal. Second trimester is when a lot of women start to feel more normal. When I was pg with my DD I absolutely LOVED the second tri because I felt like me again. I know it's hard when you barely have a bump and can't feel the baby. I didn't feel DD until close to 18 weeks, which is also normal. My OB says most moms won't feel the baby until 17 - 24 weeks. It's out of the ordinary for people to feel the baby before 15 weeks. Possible but not the norm.
  • Honestly I haven't felt anything this whole pregnancy! I was so freaked out for my 12 week appointment last mon, but there on the screen wad a jumping baby :) it's ok! It's just early.

  • I'm in the same boat, so there is no need to worry. I haven't had any m/s and aside from the inital sore boobs, I feel like my regular self.  No bump, no soreness, no sickness, nothing. I feel completely non-pregnant.

My next appointment is in one week, so I am excited to go back and get some reassurance.

I guess they way I tell myself it's okay is the fact that I have also had zero symptoms of potential problems either - so I am just trying to go with the flow.

  • I am the exact same way. 14 weeks along today and have no bump at all. Do they actually listen to the heart beat at every appointment? How else do you have reassurance that everything is okay?
  • With DD I didn't feel any movement until around 20 weeks, and there was a long time where I didn't really feel pregnant.
