No luck on Doppler but got a beautiful US instead

We had our 3rd appt this morning and since we had an US at the 8 week our doctor used the Doppler this time. Well she couldn't find the heartbeat and I of course started getting nervous. We saw our beautiful baby on the US and it was amazing to see. I couldn't believe how much the baby had changed since the last US. We could see fingers, toes, eyes and a spinal cord! It was so different than the last time. I fell in love. Did this happen to anyone else?

We're going Wed. and all I want is a HB too so if we have to get an u/s so be it.

When we went last week for just a doppler and checkup, they had mentioned that if they couldn't find anything, they would've done an US. I already had an US scheduled for today, though, so they would've just waited for today. So glad you saw the baby today.

Oh, so happy that you had a successful u/s. They are SO fun and reassuring that the peanut is safe and sound.
