Haha!! That's how I was feeling because DH hasn't acknowledged V-day until I said something and I didn't think he was getting me something. But he called and said he's getting something last minute haha.. whatever. I haven't been excited about Vday either, not that I hate it just because it's not as important as it has been before lol. Does marriage do that you??
that would be an awesome exchange though!! my husbands quote for valentines day"its a hallmark holiday & flowers wilt & die as soon as you pick them...I'll buy you a bag of potato's & you can plant them & they will grow forever..." in the 15 yrs we've known each other i have yet to get a single f'n flower...oh well i guess theres more to life than flowers eh?!
I could really care less too. I ordered my own gift from DH lol. Well I ordered myself something and told him that my excuse for getting it was because I wanted it for Valentines day. I have to work today and DH will probably be working until pretty late due to low staffing at his job. I guess I'll have a date with DS.
OOooOOO & my second present was from my oldest dog...who left me 5 different ones all over the basement....WTF!! this day needs to be over with already....=/
I'm making meatloaf tonight (woo, exciting! NOT) and we'll probably watch TV in bed before passing out from exhaustion since we got up at 4am today. Yeah, not really into it this year. :P

We've never been a big V-Day couple. Sometimes DH will randomly get me something or vice-versa, but then it's awkward because one of us has something and the other doesn't. Luckily I can usually make up for it in the evening : ). DH is one of those guys that says he doesn't need a greeting card company to tell him when to be romantic...but then isn't spontaneously romantic, either, so whatevs.
Re: Valentine's Day, Schmalentine's Day
Mikaela is going to have a little brother!
LOL
Don't think you can exchange that for diamonds...
haha, love your siggy picture!

That b!tch is handing out duplicate gifts! I demand a re-do.
OP, we've never really celebrated Valentine's Day. We may use it as an excuse to get sushi, but it's not worth much more than that to us.
Yeah, we don't really celebrate it either, just do cards. I just find I'm so tired, and busy and pre-occupied that I can't get in the mood most times.
Me too!! She gave me a Christmas Eve present too!! I am not liking her at all lately. :-(

I totally want to order pizza though.
