How long did your Kissaluvs 0/fitted NB's last?

I'm looking at doing a combo of prefolds and fitteds for the next DS, and I was just curious how long the size 0 Kissaluvs lasted on your LO? I have some small AIO's to get me through (in between the nb stage and OS) until he's big enough for the OS stash that I'm using on DS1, but realistically how long will the 0's last us? Are they worth the money? I want something that doesn't look HUGE on him when he's so small, but I don't want to spend a fortune on something that's going to last us 2 weeks. My husband is leaning towards disposable until his umbilical cord falls off and his circ heals. I really don't want to go down that road and want to start cloth right from the start, unlike we did with DS1.

Also, would you go with infant PF's from GMD or the smalls? DS1 was pretty little when he was born at 39 wks- 7lbs 1oz and 20in. We thought he would be huge but he was a little bird! I'm thinking that DS2 will probably be about the same give or take a lb. 

I'm such a rookie! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

A is still wearing hers. She is on the second to last snaps and she is, I'm guessing between 9-10lbs. We have our 2 month check-up tomorrow. I think she is on the petit side, but I think they say between 5-15lbs for the KL0's. Worth it IMO.

We rented our KL0s and got them for 3 months - the last month they didn't fit very well, but they were still doable.  We used the yellow edge prefolds at the same time and they were big, but that's the good thing about prefolds - you can fold them to make them fit even if they seem a bit big.

ETA - DS was 8 lbs 11 oz at birth and consistently fairly heavy

I think the KLOs fit DD until around 10lbs or so.  She was a big baby (8lbs 11oz at birth), so she hit 10lbs around 6 weeks I think.

 

Edit - thought about it some more, and I think she grew out of them by 6, not 4, weeks.

I think that they lasted us about 6 weeks.

They lasted 13.5 wks.  I didn't have a super tiny baby either.  She was 8lb3oz at birth.

KL0s have really good resale value, so even if this is your last tiny baby, it's probably worth getting some to try.

I ended up with a bunch of GMD infant fitteds because I found a lot for a good price on diaperswappers.com - 26 fitteds, 24 wipes, 3 xs covers, 3 sm covers = $85. I figured for that, I'd give it a shot.

5 weeks. She was out peeing them in an hour by then. But luckily the OS started fitting around 4 weeks.

6weeks and counting --we're not even close to outgrowing them. He was 6lb 12oz at birth. LO is a "big" peer (and then screamer), so we do change them very frequently. They were out faves with the umbilical stump and still our are faves now.

DS was 7ibs 7 oz and 20 inches they lasted just past 2 months on him.

We still use them and my daughter is 5 months old.  She is small though.  I think they will still fit her for a while.  They aren't on the last snap setting yet.  I did get them used so even if they didn't fit very long they would have been worth it.  They were our favorite newborn diapers.

We also used orange edge GMD prefolds.  Those probably fit until about 10 pounds, which for us was about 4 months.
