Another Jan baby finally arrived

Our baby boy was born this weekend - due on Jan20th/21st, finally arriving on Saturday, Feb. 12th after 43 weeks/1day. We are both doing very well, and since we had a homebirth, we are already relaxed and recovering in our beautiful bedroom and getting some much needed rest after 40 hours of labor.

I want to thank the other mom who posted her due Jan 13, arrived feb 3rd story - it helped me get through those last few weeks of doubt and pressure to induce. Everyone that attended the birth was certain that, given the circumstances of what was holding up the birth, had I caved to the pressure it would have failed and ended in c-section. So thank you so much for posting your story and giving me faith in letting my little boy come when he was ready

I hope, despite the fact that he ended up being a February baby - I can still hang out here as it has been wonderful getting to know this great month of birth mamas for the last 9 months.

Congratulations, you guys are amazing! I strongly believe in baby coming on their own is best as long as all other circumstances are great, and I am glad you stuck to your beliefs!
