No one in my family is into wine so it will be beer & liquor for the adults. Since I do not drink beer I have no idea what kind to buy. What are you offering your guest? Suggestions for beer's that would be good?

We aren't allowed to have alcohol at our venue (boo!) but if we were, I'd be buying one national brand (probably Miller Light, since it's my fave) and one specialty brand. Since I'm in Texas, my specialty choice would be Shiner Bock, which is available in a lot of places, but is native to us.
I can comfortably second Corona (especially in FL), Fat Tire, and Blue Moon.

I had thought about getting Corona's but I wanted something else. I had no idea there were so many different beer brands. I'm lost.
I know I will be serving Appleton's & Flor de Cana for rum. Grey Goose & Stoli for vodka. Patron & Cabo Wabo for tequila. That was easy because that is what I drink. LOL

Wine, yuengling, coors light and prob a few other types of beer.
Yum! I haven't had Yuengling since I left Florida. That's the only place I was able to find it. I think I may have to track some down.
Sadly its only sold in a few states... Florida, Georgia and PA and I think a couple more on the east coast. My DH get so excited when we go to FL or GA because he knows we can have it and then he is sad when we come home : )

What's Yuengling?
We won't be serving alcohol because it's at the beach and illegal, but we'll have fam and friends over afterwards and we'll have pacifico, stella, vino for the wine drinkers and we allllllways have vodka on hand, with several types of mixers (and maybe even tequilla if it's nice out and someone wants a margarita). Man, I miss alcohol.

We'll have beer and wine. DH brews at home, and by April we'll have a pilsner, a British ale, and apple wine. We'll probably buy a couple of six packs, too, and a bottle of red wine. We like to have plenty of options for guests.
We keep our liquor cabinet pretty well stocked, and mixed drinks are always available to anyone that wants one. We won't be "serving" cocktails, but we'll offer to mix something up for anyone that wants one.
I agree with pp's that Blue Moon is a great one to have on hand for guests. Also, I don't know anyone who doesn't like Stella Artois.
Wine, a few different beers (Nate can pick those since I don't know anything about beer), and some hard liquor (I've only thought about the one I know must be there: Grey). I have to think about it a bit more though.

Re: what kind of alcohol are you going to be serving?
We always offer Blue Moon, and Labatt Blue Light for beer.
We have our wine that we love (menage e troi), and then we offer some fun vodkas that our friends developed, with some fun mixers.
This is going to be a very stupid question but do they sell that beer every where? I know nada about beer.
My 365 Blog
I am going to look for this when I go to the grocery store this week. I am going to need to try it out. Big sacrifice
It is my H's favorite. And then Sam Adams Boston Lager.

What is this?
It's a good basic lager, and not too expensive. We usually keep it in the house b/c I can find it on sale.

I like the idea of a girly drink, like mimosa and sangria. And probably beer that my H likes that I think is from here or Vancouver.
I can't remember, does your H drink beer? Ask him what kind to have.

DH drinks Miller Lite or Natural Light. I know that no one else drinks that. His friends pick on him for his beer choices all the time.
