le sigh..a mini complaining post.

DH and I were suppose to go out for our v-day date, to canvas and cocktals (You learn how to paint a picture while sipping on drinks its really fun) My Mom was going to baby-sit.

Sister is PG, and has cried wolf about going into labor about 5 times now. Well now she swears she is having true contractions (every 10, 5, and 3 mintues) so now my moms all freaked out, so we had to cancel our plans and now I'm  trying to find something for dinner at home.

I understand this may be true labor, and I am excited to possibly meet the baby, it's just sucky timing and I'm trying to be "ok" with it all.

We don't use any other baby sitter, only my Mom watches DS. We haven't been out in AGES, and every time we go to plan a date night one of my sisters need mom to "Help" them and we luck out.

Not to mention we *could* of taken a date earlier today somewhere "in town" but my other sister and her husband already asked my mom to watch their kids this afternoon.

Okay this turned out longer than I thought. sorry. Just mostly disapointed, frusterated that I seem to be "last on the totem pole" all.the.freakin.time.

ETA: My sister use other baby-sitters, but like to take advantage of my mom's free babysitting. Were as I haven't used or trust any other baby sitter, and I think its my turn to use my mom every once in awhile!

I'm sorry! I hope it ends up being a good night. Maybe it's time to branch on sitters since this happens a lot.

I'm sorry. :- That's frustrating, especially if you were really looking forward to canvas & cocktails (Sounds ridiculously fun, btw!)

Maybe it's time to branch out for a back up baby sitter? It stinks because it's hard to say whether the baby will be born tonight, or into tomorrow.

Get some wine, canvas and paints and DIY after LO goes to sleep
