collin never wants to keep his socks on. he fvcking kicks them off when he's in his rocking chair if it's reclined, and he leans forward to take them off any other time, or brings his leg to his hand.
we keep our house chilly cause oil is so expensive, his feet get cold without his stupid socks and robeez on. how the F do i keep them on?! i'm sooo frustrated with this.
Re: how the F do you get your kid to keep their socks on?
duck tape.
but honestly... i have no idea!
isn't it irritating?!!!! i'm ready to let his feet freeze off!

he kicks his robeez off, or pulls them off
I don't like robeez shoes cause of the elastic, which yes, is easy for us to get them on, but also easy for them to get off.
I like shoes that tie or velcro. I double knot the tie ones and there is no getting those suckers off.

we use faded glory bobby kinda socks, and unless they are getting to small for Sam she always keeps them on.so im no help really,
but i would do what another poster suggested and get shoes that tie up.
sew a button to the inside of his pants and cut a hole on the top of the socks so you can button them to him.
LOL...
I don't know. DD kicks hers off or pulls them off. The only way we had luck with keeping them on is to put slippers over them. They are on the tight side and not so easy to get off.
She's barefoot 99% of the time.
Why not just buy footed pants for around the house?
My sister (has 3 under 3) swears by these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000YALVFY/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_1?pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B0047N07YU&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=076FEB6RGNJ12R0C5MTH
Also, the baby socks from the Gap have really good elastic along the top.
We don't have problems with this ourselves because DS is always warm; he's usually barefoot to keep from overheating.
These socks are awesome! Carter's Bubble Socks. They sell them at Kohls. DS wears size 12-24 month - they run really small. It is really hard for them to kick these off. (edited to fix the picture)
We use the thick socks from old navy and even though they aren't supposed to be cuffed, I fold them over. They stay on with him kicking his feet and are tight enough that he has to work to pull them off. Ds has chubby feet - so maybe that helps?

Either these or the crew ones - NOT the "cozy ones" they are fleece and fall off.
This! DD has these and they don't slide off like her other socks. She's not big on pulling her socks off, usually only in the car, but I don't think she's managed to get these off.
I love these socks too!
I have never seen them in the bigger sizes though. i am going to have to check Kohls out!

This! I get socks that are on the tighter side (not cut circulation off tight but will stay up tight) and I pull them ALL the way up and then she has a harder time getting them off. If she's determined it still happens. I have cute boots from payless that zip up, and with her chunky lil calves those suckers aren't coming off unless she figures out how to unzipper so those work too :oP haha
Ditto everyone with the socks to the knees.
I got DD these, but it doesn't look like they have boy versions:

I've also heard good things about these:

Big brother and sister are excited to meet the new baby! It's a GIRL!

My ds is like a little sock Houdini! He could get his socks off in the blink of an eye...until I bought him a pack of the Robeez Kick Proof socks. They are on Amazon, but are too expensive imo. Here is the link...don't know if it'll be a clicky link:

A few weeks ago, I found Robeez socks at TJ Maxx for $5.99 for 6 pairs! I bought my son 2 packs...6-12 months and 24 months (or something like that). I must say that the Robeez socks run really small. The 6-12 months size were too tight, but the 24 month size fits great. He has yet to kick even one of them off!
If you do not have a TJ Maxx near you, you may want to look at Ross or Marshalls to see if they have these socks....you will LOVE them!
