Bought the Nosefrida

After last week's discussion of the Nosefrida I went ahead and ordered it from Amazon.  I've only used it on Hadley so far, but it's amazing.  It sucks so much snot out and fast!  She doesn't like when I do it, but it's over and done with in a fraction of the time I'd spend using the bulb.  I say it was money well spent!

DH ordered one about a month ago and I would not stop making fun of him for buying it.  I ate my words last night when he used it on DS and it worked so well.  I wish we had it a long time ago because we would have used it for H too, I'm not sure how she'd respond to it now.

Another "yes!" vote here - DH still thinks it's crazy, but it works so much better and I'm not afraid of giving her a bloody nose with the bulb when she is wiggling.  (We started when she was 12 months, and she doesn't love it, but she hates the bulb more.)

Oooh maybe I'll order it for the baby.   Do you think you would try it with Stella too?  Nicholas sees the nose sucker thing and runs the other way- in fact he actually finds it in the drawer and tosses it in his diaper champ so I won't use it.   I wonder if he'd do the same thing with the nose frida.

I ordered one too after reading that thread. i tried it once on DS and he wasnt pleased.  oh well--your post gives me hope that it will work in the future!

We bought it back in December when Elena had a cold for a few days (at 6 DAYS old, poor thing), but we've really gotten out use out of it in the last two weeks.  What's worked best is to keep her in the bathroom with the hot, hot shower running, then after that is over to use the Nosefrida...we can get a lot more out that way.

I'm going to try it on Stella, but I'm not holding my breath that it will work.

I looooove ours. Luke? Not so much. He hates it less than he hates the bulb one we got from the hospital though. I also agree that if you use it after a bath or in a nice steamy bathroom, it works much better.
