It's a great workout. Kicked my a$$. I did it 2-3 times week in conjunction with running and saw results pretty quickly. Be prepared to be very, very sore at first.

I have been doing it for a week. I have done it every night since Tuesday and I can feel it. Is it a stand alone workout or do you have to do other things as well?

I used it as strength training, so I only did it once or twice a week. It's not long enough to get the calorie burn I like - I also did it in conjunction with running.

I can go running at midnight! I was thinking of doing Winsor Pilates a few nights a week but that isn't cardio. Give me some indoor cardio suggestions.

Well I have a treadmill so running is indoor cardio :P I still wouldn't do it at midnight, though, it's in the basement and the basement is creepy. I want Turbo Jam wicked back, it looks like a super fun workout. Dancing and punching and crap.

Oh, if you use it alone and commit to everyday you will at the very least see definition/toning. If you add cardio and weight lifting religiously then you will be all set.
I have been doing it for 2 weeks now. I usually do it everyday with one or two "rest" days. I love it, hate Jillian, but love the way I feel after I finish it. I usually do it in the morning when DD naps and then do pilates and yoga at night after she goes to bed.
I do three days of running, 2 days of zumba and 1-2 days of 30 day shred or the kettle bell workout by bob from the biggest loser. You will see results with 30DS. And I won't be offended if you curse my name afterward!
It's a good start. If you're like me and have turned into a couch potatoe it's a good way to kick yourself back into gear without doing something drastic (like join a gym)
They sometimes have the 30DS free on my Comcast OnDeamand channels.
I now switch it up with my elliptical, walking with the boys at the park, and Jackie Warner personal training DVDs. Those are some serious weights. But they will tone you with a swiftness.
