info on baby gear. Such as reviews, safety standards, ratings?

I have no clue where to start what stores to look at and I'm sure I'll be wanting to buy my first baby item next week after our appt. TIA!

    You can try Consumer Reports.  I signed up for a month membership online to check out baby gear.  Also, I have found the "Nurseries and Baby Gear" board very helpful.  You can try looking at different websites like babiesrus, buy buy baby, and amazon.  I read a lot of their reviews from customers.  Best of luck!

    Order Baby Bargains or pick it up from Barns and Noble. It is excellent and confirmed items I liked and so many questions I had. Also gave such great advice, as far as whats a waste of money. Five stars IMO. :)
