I splurged...

Valentines Day is not a big deal in our house. DH buys me socks or a movie. I buy him boxers or a movie. Then we throw in some Reeses hearts. We don't spend more than $20. No pressure, no expectations, no big deal. So I imagine he is going to be pretty surprised when he opens the iPad I bought him. I broke the "No big deal Valentines day gifts" rule but somehow I don't think he'll mind.

    6/28/10: Lost our sweet baby Addyston at 18wk 1day to pPROM 7/24/11: Michael William born at 24wk 2d due to IC after an emergent cerclage at 18wks, 4wk home BR and 2 weeks hospital BR. Grow strong our little Miracle! 9/17/11: Michael joined his sister in heaven after 8 amazing weeks with us on earth. He fought a very hard fight but NEC was too much for him in the end.     Because of our crazy schedules this week we did Valentine's Day tonight. Whatever togetherness I was looking forward to is out the window now as he plays with his new toy. He was thrilled though so that makes me happy.

    Well...  while I know Dave is realistic and what nots...  can't you just live a little... at least once in a while?  (yes, I know I just broke a rule, but that's my opinion)
