anyone know of any legit work at home positions?

So I feel like I have exhausted all my resources in terms of finding work and I have no idea what else to do except look for at home positions. I doubt anyone is going to hire me being pregnant and knowing that 6 months from now I'm going to need a boat load of time off to recoop and care for a newborn. My husband us super stressed about money and having this baby, and I just want to help contribute somehow. Does anyone have and ideas or know of anything that is legitamate? I have to do something to help out.

  • Do you have any crafty hobbies? Many people sell crafts to earn some extra. I write freelance, when I can find the work. It's usually pretty good. There are companies that will pay you to fill out surveys and junk too - its boring and doesn't pay very well but it helps. Is there a school subject you excelled in? You could tutor. If you have any special skills you could teach classes...just a few thoughts. Good luck!

  • I agree with pp about tutoring.  You could also maybe do some part-time childcare in your home or mother's helper work until baby comes. The sitter who I use is a stay at home mom who has 2 girls of her own and only watches DD.  I have a flexible schedule with her, but I pay her $50/day to watch her in her home.  Lots of people need childcare, and it's a great way to earn a little money!
  • Some credit card companies hire for incoming calls/customer service, babysitting, tutoring

Depending on how openminded you are there is a "telephone actress" comany that pays hourly (instead of by the call) I did it while I was in school. In my four hour shift I would usually only get maybe 2 10 minute calls. So it was easy money.

  • Depending on what you have a degree or degrees in, Smarthinking.com is a great online tutoring place. My sister's friend works for them, and my best friend from college is a trainer there.

(Sorry...my screen jumped, and I ended up on the wrong board. I'm from April 2011. Good luck, though!)

I sell Xyngular products, which are natural weight loss suppliments. It's a similar selling scheme as Pampered Chef, Avon, etc.  It works great for giving me the extra income that I need.
