Graco Smart Seat?

Was curious if anyone had anyone had any recommendations or reviews on the Graco Smart Seat with the stay-in car base. It is their new rear and forward facing car seat?

    I bought this for my daughter about a week ago and she loves it!  It seems very safe.  I really like that it can be used all the through 100lbs as a booster seat.

    This is the new convertible with bases, yes? From the BRU website it has excellent reviews. But it really doesn't seem cost effective. The seat itself is $300, plus the base is $100 a piece. I bought two convertible carseats for $200 total. I think it's a great idea and I hope other companies jump on board and start creating these. But for me it's like when DVD players first came out and they were $500. Now they're a dime a dozen.

    I used a 20% off coupon for the car seat so it only came to 260 and will be doing the same thing for the second base.  It is a little expensive but, I love that it goes all the way up to 100lbs.  So, this will be the last seat I have to buy for DD
