Success after IF

Update from Perinatal appt

We didn't really learn much. The "blob" is still in Baby A's belly (the girl), but the perinatalogist isn't concerned about it. She confirmed what the u/s tech said...tumors are more rigid and this looks more like something she probably swallowed.

I'm still worried because I would think that if she swallowed something (like dead skin) and it was showing up on Tuesday's u/s, wouldn't it be gone by now because she would have passed it??? I didn't get clarification on that.

BUT, I guess if the specialist isn't worried, I shouldn't be, right?

right!  but easier said than done!  I'm glad that they aren't worried about it!  Did they schedule some sort of follow up to check on it?
  • I'm sorry you didn't get the clarification you'd like but yes, I'd say if the specialist isn't concerned, you shouldn't be. Of course, that is easier said than done, I know all too well!

  • No follow-up there, but just my regularly scheduled u/s at each OB visit. I'm going every two weeks now. I REALLY hope whatever it is is gone when I go back on the 22nd. If it's not, I'm going to demand to know why whatever it is hasn't passed out of her tummy yet. Maybe their digestive systems are just slower in the womb???
