I hate the phrase "I'm real".  What does that even mean?

I had a friend once say that whever she catches herself saying "just sayin", you know nothing good is coming out of your mouth after that.

And it means that something not good probably just came out of your mouth. A lot of people use it as an after the fact type thing.
