3d/4d ultrasound.

Are any of you ladies going to do this and if so where are you going?  I am torn, I would like to save my money and put that toward his newborn pictures.  I know that it would be neat to see what he looks like, but will we really know what he looks like since I am korean I just assume he will look asian.

I have done it with both pregnancies.  My main reason was to get to see the baby again since I only get one ultrasound through my entire pregnancy (20 weeks.)  I have loved both of them and honestly, DD#1 looked just like her 4d pictures!

My doctor's office (in Birmingham) offers them, so that is where I have gone for both of them.  (They have had a special going on for $95, so I know that is much better than other places that offer them.)

We got one with DD and loved it. (Although, with our first 4D Miss K was hiding in the placenta so they gave us a second 4D for free.)

Our OB office in Tuscaloosa offers them for about $125. Check with your doctors office. It might be the same way.

We got it done with our DD as well at my OB's (I'm in the H'ville area).  It was 125 dollars and it was totally worth it to me because I also got a teddy bear with her heartbeat  recorded in it.

We didn't get it done. We couldn't justify spending the $125. Newborn pics can be expensive so I would save it for those like you are thinking of doing.

Aww, I totally would've done it if we got a teddy bear with the hearbeat. 

I opted not to have it done mainly because I wanted the money to go towards his NB pictures.  I knew I wanted a ton of nb pix and felt the money would be helpful for ordering pix.

$125?!? I need to tell my doc's office. Both my current one and the one I went to for #1 charges $200. We did one with the first and will do one again. I didn't think it would look like him at the time but for a while after he was born, I could see him making the same expressions.

I am debating it. The reason I want one is just to see the baby again, but I don't want to spend the money.  My Dr. does them for $85 which doesn't sound that bad when i hear $200.

I had my doctor's appt today and we went ahead and scheduled one.  It's $50 (non-refundable) and then if I want the pictures and DVD it's an add'l $75.
