so frustrated with our MDO

They are closed tomorrow for a snow day. This is the 8th snow day since December and it's getting ridiculous. I understand why the schools close so much, because buses can't get to students, etc, etc, but those issues are not relevant with a pre-school/MDO (the one Henry attends offers both). I've always scheduled my OB appointments on Fridays because he goes on Mon & Fri, but I'm constantly scrambling for someone to watch him or taking him with me anyway.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr. And yes, I've complained about it, and so have others and they did change their policy slightly (formerly if the metro school system was closed they are closed, now that's first day of the closing only and after that the MDO makes their own decision), but it hasn't stopped them from closing unneccessarily, IMO.

Between snow days and sick days (which obviously I know are not their fault) Henry has only been able to attend 50% of his days since September.

Just a vent.

Sorry you're dealing with this.  We don't usually have "snow" days, but we had two last week and now two this week.  Both today and yesterday the school didn't post that they were closed on time, so both days DH drove him only to find out that there was no school.  Actually today was a late start but we didn't find this out until noon.  

Hope H is feeling better soon!
