Success after IF

Can I ask a tmi question about my cycle?

Since about 2 months after having the girls, my cycles have been regular.  Coming every 30-32 days, O'ing somewhere in the middle and I don't keep track.  Today and yesterday I had bloody ewcm, cramping and I'm exhausted and my coworker mentioned that I'm a week late (she says I'm two weeks after her and we were talking about how my pms symptoms are worse this month).

I tried googling bloody ewcm and it said it was caused by hormones related to pregnancy.

I know there is no way I could be pregnant (RE gave us 0% chance of a miracle baby) but I'm worried it might be something else.

Do you think AF is around the corner?  Late O?  (not understanding why its bloody, I've never had bloody ewcm before)

Thanks.

Re: Can I ask a tmi question about my cycle?

  • Well, with all the miracle babies going around here...

The first thing I would do is test.  It cannot hurt and will give you some additional information.

Then if it continues, or you don't get AF in a week or so, I would call my OB.  Just to make them aware.  Perhaps they know more than us and Dr. Google.

It might just be one of those fluke things that happen in our cycles, but you never know.

    Crossing my fingers...

  • Never say never, I would pee on something to give ease your mind. If that comes up BFN, I would call your OB!

  • FWIW, I have bloody EWCM right now, and I am most definately not pregnant.

Most women have a watery discharge prior to AF, it's the beginning of the lining shed. could be that, or just a simple flux in hormones and some spotting that came together for no reason other than to make you think too much.

but POAS and report back, lol. ;-)

  • Dh ran out and bought a test.  BFN .. wowo it's been a long time since I've typed those letters.

I'll call my OB, I'm sure it's nothing but hormones.  My mom was dx with uterine cancer at 34 and I'm going to be 32 this year so I think I'm freaking myself out with every little thing.
