Tell me about your 6mos growth spurt

When DS went through the 3mos growth spurt in early (all of) Dec while EBFing, it was pretty intense/miserable and also coincided with the 4mos wakeful. His sleeping habits still haven't returned to quiet peaceful nights, and we also now do 5oz bottles of FF for daycare due to chaos at work. I'm curious what your experiences were with the 6mos growth spurt for your LO. Was it harder or easier than the 3mos? How long did it seem to last? How many oz did you need to add to bottles during and afterwards? Any tips? Thanks so much!!!

    My DS's whole life has been one big growth spurt!! He tripled his birth weight by 5 months!

    The best tip I can offer is to make sure you're feeding enough during the day and that will help with night issues. I don't know much about FF but for BF I feed all of one side, give DS 15 minutes to kick on the floor and then feed all the other side. Every time. He eats lots more that way than if I don't give him that good break. I also pump between his first and second feed of the day. That way I can top him up at night when he needs it or I can use the milk with his solids.
