I said a mix but I'm sure it's not a mix in the way you intended...we did cloth exclusively from about 4-11 months old. We didn't start right away b/c the cloth diapers we had were too big. Then we stopped at 11 months b/c he grew out of the ones we had and we couldn't afford the up-front investment to buy more right away. When we finally did maybe 4 months later, THEY were too big, and they still don't fit well. So, we've been using disposables (can't stand the term "sposies") exclusively, for that reason. Loved cloth when we used them (and they fit right), though.

We are about 90% cloth. The other 10% is me being lazy and not always having enough diapers washed up...or the diapers sitting clean in the dryer, but me being too lazy to go down and stuff them. I think we've bought around 10 small packages of diapers in the last six months, including the 1st month when he was exclusively disposable.
We use cloth 99% of the time. Once I put him in a disposable because we were going to be trekking into Children's Hospital for an appointment and I just thought it would be easier. Yeah... never again. He had his first and only ever blow out poop in the waiting room. He's had some huge poops in his cloth diapers but they always contain it. The disposables just can't compare!

I voted for cloth, but we did use disposibles at daycare for awhile. The first daycare dd went to, wouldn't use our cloth, so she was in disposibles during the day for about 3 months.

We are about 99% cloth but I've never found an overnight diaper that works long term for us. We do disposable at night.
Ditto. Hard to beat the wetness protection and absorbency of the sposie in that case. If Ana feels wet, she's awake.
I also will just give up and do sposies if there's a bout of diarrhea. I hate changing poopy cloth diapers because we use disposable wipes and that's a pain. Can't leave them in the diaper or the wash will eat them.

we did exclusive cloth just over a year old, then i was just tired of the stink from using wool at night so we use disposables at night, but cloth during the day.
We use cloth 99.9% of the time. The only time a disposable will touch her butt is if she has a severe rash and we use a zinc based cream, but I am making fleece liners for our cloth diapers so we don't have to use disposables ever.
I'm surprised, now that I have been on both sides, that more people don't use cloth diapers.

This is us too (although I put "cloth" in the poll because I really do feel like a CD mama). I'm hoping to get my hands on a twinkie tush or 2 to try overnight. I really want a CD overnight solution.
