Did/Does everyone else have to soothe their newborn to sleep everytime, either by rocking or by nursing/bottle feeding? Ive read many times that you should put your baby down when they are sleepy but not totally asleep so that they can learn to go to sleep on their own. Is this for when they are a couple of months old though? I just don't think there is any way that DS would be able to fall asleep on his own right now without me soothing him to sleep. Thanks.
Re: newborn getting to sleep ?
Yea I def.think that's for when they are a couple of months old. At you DS's age you will probably need to help him sleep. ?DD is first learning to put herself to sleep.?
DS started putting himself to sleep a lot earlier than we expected. It was before 2 months for sure. The day I was able to lay him down for a nap and watch him drift off on his own was wonderful!
