Clingy and cranky all of the time with me??

I used to be able to put DD down with all of her toys in the living room and she would happily play for long periods of time.  I would play and interact with her while cooking dinner, folding laundry, writing email etc.

Now she is crying, running to me and clinging onto my legs.  Just wants to be held.  Very fussy.

When H is home with her he says: "She was an absolute angel.  I don't know what you're talking about".

What gives?

We've been going through the same thing for a couple of months... I think it's just a phase, not sure, but it's definitely wearing me out! Not to mention how hard it is to constantly be picking him up while pregnant.. ugh. But he does it with my hubbs too, so I think it's just a phase, I can only hope!

DD has gone through phases like this.  Accept it as normal and it will pass!  Sometimes these phases lasted 2 weeks (that was the longest one) but each time I just try to give her lots of love and she gets over it!  But it's HARD for the time you're dealing with it!

Sometimes when DD is with DH and I come back into the room, she will start to fuss and race towards me. She doesn't do this with DH. I think it has something to do with separation anxiety like others mentioned.

This! DS certainly goes through his phases of it. I SAH with him, so he usually only acts this way with me.
