With my first pregnancy, I slept well until my 8 month. This time around I'm up every 2-3 hours with my hips hurting, then I need to go to the bathroom, or I'm hungry or thirsty. I got the okay to go to the chiropractor, and I plan on trying this soon. I'm so exhausted in the morning.
Is anyone else having issues sleeping? Have you found anything that helps?

Tylenol PM.
I usually REFUSE to take over-the-counter pain meds, but this saved my life last time. I haven't needed it yet this round, but I already have a bottle by my bed & will go back to taking it at bedtime the minute my hips start hurting.
I'm having major issues getting back to sleep after I wake up in the middle of the night. It's very frustrating. It went away for a few weeks, but now it's back! I don't turn on any lights and get right back into bed when I go to the bathroom and lately I am still not able to fall back to sleep for a few hours.
DH bought me a total body pillow (shaped like a big "U") and I didn't like it when I used it bc it went up around my neck and that part was not comfortable as a pillow for my head. I am looking at getting a different Boppy pillow that was recommended at Motherhood Maternity that is smaller and shaped more like an apostrophe and goes between your legs, I think to support your back, belly and hips. The sales woman said she sells more of those than the full size pillows.
Good Luck, I hope it gets better!
I have this pillow and LOVE it! it is perfect for my hips and lower pelvic pressure
Thanks for the info, I think I'm going to buy one soon!
The bigger pillow was not very comfortable for me, although I know others that like it.
I'm only getting up to go to the bathroom, which is quite frequent. Last time I had sciatica in my legs and back pain in the 3rd tri, and going to the chiropractor helped a lot. Hopefully that will help you too.
I also use a body pillow from Target. And, I keep a glass of water by my bed. If I wake up thirsty, usually one or two sips will do it.
We have a memory foam mattress topper and I'm a huge body pillow hugger...
The hip pain may come from the mattress so the topper may be an option...they have affordable choices on Overstock.
