Congratulations to ABC-123 on having her twins yesterday!  I didn?t see a post announcing their arrival, but her info says c section was scheduled for yesterday so I hope I?m not mistaken.

 

Please give us an update on yourself, and respond to the QOTW below.

Also, please suggest some questions or topics you would like to see here. I'm struggling to think of some.

 

QOTW

Let?s talk about sex. If you are able to have sex (not on pelvic rest), is it more or less often than when you are not pregnant? More or less often than last time you were pregnant? Feel free to share any other details you care to. 

If you are/have been on pelvic rest, what do/did you do to keep your DH happy/satisfied? Not just sexually, but how do you keep your relationship strong when you can?t be intimate? Pelvic rest can be very frustrating!

DH is very happy I have a sex drive.  I want it any way, time or place.  I was the same way last time but things got uncomfortable fast.

QOTW- I am not on bedrest, but had a bleeding scare a couple weeks ago so we haven't had sex.  And at the time my nurse said not too.  I'm sure it's fine now, but we'll definitely wait until next week when we go to our first u/s before doing anything.

Hi ladies! How is everyone?

QOTW-Eh, I'm content without, but we've done it a few times. I've been SO exhausted this go round, so sex is usually the last thing on my mind when I get in bed. And then there is the morning sickness, but that has gotten better, thankfully. Poor guy. Last time, we had some restrictions, so we've probably done it more this go round...

I'm doing good. Feeling better each day (knock on wood!!). We find out what we're having at the end of next week!!!

Update - I'm now past the time of my latest loss so I'm started to get more excited about this pregnancy.  I just keep praying that things continue to go well.

QOTW - Ahhh, sex, I remember it well.  We haven't had sex since two days prior to our IUI in November.  The docs haven't told us not to, it's just that after my losses I'm too scared to.  Maybe once I'm past 20 weeks I'll feel better about it.  My poor husband..............

Hello! I think I asked to join the group last week but it might have been hours and hours after you posted this:) So, I would like to be added! ETA: I'm due October 12.

QOTW: Honestly, I'm so dog tired right now between work, chasing after DS, and just general tiredness that I've not been up to sex lately. We haven't had sex since we TI'd. I know DH is getting antsy so I'll probably give in this weekend, LOL. It's also sucky because I'm on prometrium and I put my last insert in right before bed, the time when we would normal get busy (we're not 'during the day' people) and I get up super early for work, so morning quickies are out of the question...we cherish every second of sleep we can get these days, LOL, especially when we have nights like last night when DS woke up a million times for no reason.

Update:  Well, I'm still pg!  I have an appt tomorrow, another one next Thursday, and if I don't go into labor on my own before next Friday, I am scheduled for an induction at 5:30 am on Friday, February 18.  I am excited and terrified at the same time!

QOTW:  We have not had sex in a looooonnnnnggggggg time.  I am just too uncomfortable and DH really isn't turned on by my pg bod (he would never tell me that, but I just know). I think he is afraid that he will hurt me or the baby, and he knows how uncomfortable I am which isn't a turn on.  I am looking forward to getting that part of our marriage back on track after this LO arrives.

Feeling ok - having m/s daily now which is no fun at all.

Sex - Ha! Dh pointed out this morning that it has been at least 6 weeks since we had sex. Oops. No desire. I feel yucky a lot of the time and am so TIRED, it is honestly the last thing on my mind. I feel awful because I did not have much sex drive while BFing either, so it has been a loooooooong stretch for my low libido and my poor Dh!. I try to take care of him when I can

 We are due 3/6/11 with DD # 2 =-) IVF w/ICSI

Had PTL scares at 22, and 32 weeks. Went into L&D last week with contractions at this point if I go into Labor they will let me deliver.. So uncomfortable lately, and cannot wait to hold this LO in my arms Hope everyone is well!

Update: Nothing really new with me. This pregnancy is going by very quickly, and I'm just waiting to find out if my previa has moved. Next u/s is currently scheduled for 2/25, so we will see how it's going then.

QOTW: I was diagnosed with complete placenta previa at my 18w u/s and put on pelvic rest a couple weeks later. So it's been about 3 months for us, and we are both struggling with it. DH has been pretty grumpy lately, and I know I could help with that but I just haven't. I do feel guily about it, but I guess not guilty enough to change it. I need some ways to get motivated ladies! LOL

Update: Nothing new to report.  My next Dr appt is next Tuesday- so I'll have a better update then

QOTW:  Sex?  Eh. I can take it or leave it.   We had it 2 weeks ago.  before that? I don't know a month maybe.

Nothing new to report here...other than FINALLY starting to get over the morning sickness!!!

 Sex...what's that!!! It's been a while between the sickness, the almost 2 year old, a stressful job and grad program...poor DH!!!...Hmmm maybe sex would be the solution to all of this

Oops!  I didnt realize that I never replied. 

I had my 40w appt today and I am 4cm and "ready" but I have been "ready and could go at any time" for 2 weeks now so I'm not expecting anything.  I am scheduled for an induction on Monday if I dont go before then.  I'm so glad to have an end date.  Monday (valentines day) is my sisters birthday and 2 of my cousins also so there will potentially be 4 people in my family with that birthday!

QOTW:  We have no had much sex during this pregnancy.  DH isnt comfortable with it (worried he will hurt the baby, cause preterm labor, etc.) and has felt the baby move during before which totally freaked him out.  We finally tried again on Sunday but it was a huge fail.  My ass and belly are too big for any position to work.  I'm open to ideas if anyone has them but we tried pretty much everything.

Well, I haven't had sex since 01/01/11 because DH is 3000 miles away. But when he was home for Christmas, my sex drive was waaaay up, and DH LOVED it. It's way more than last time. And you can bet that when I see him in 2 weeks at his graduation, we are both going to be getting some lovin'!!

I'm jealous! My drive is a lot higher than last time too, and I can't do anything about it because I'm on pelvic rest. Boo! Have fun when your DH gets back in town!
