Your baby gate

We are in need of a new gate that a 5 year old can operate. Literally. We have to gate off the hallway to big brother's room.

Anyone know of a gate that's not too complicated to work and doesn't take an incredible amount of strength?

This is the gate we have.  You have to slide a prettty large button on the top of the gate to the right and then pull up on it to open.  I would think a 5 yo could master it pretty quickly.

This is our gate - easy to install, and I think a young child could operate it. GL!

The KidCo Configure Gate is by far my fave gate ever.  We have six gates total in our oddly shaped house. 

You just squeeze and lift, and voila!  Five year olds we know can work our gate easily.  Best quality gate ever, plus it is great for wider or strange openings.
