Please recommend your favorite toddler book (parenting, discipline, etc.) and crock pot brand/model. I've never used one, and I think it's time I join the club!
TIA!!!

I really like Love & Logic as well as Supernanny/Jo Frost books. I have an Original Crock Pot brand slow cooker. We don't use it much but I can't say anything bad about it.
Cuisinart PSC-400. It's comparatively expensive but totally worth it. We use ours all the time. We also have Hamilton Beach Stay-or-Go, which is great for making larger quantities or taking places--i.e. parties, potlucks. It's nice having both sizes. If I had to pick one, I'd choose the Cuisinart b/c it cooks more smoothly, has a retractable cord, looks nice, and is the perfect size for many of the things we make.
I am huge on books, always checking new ones out at the library. Toddler books that I've read recently and would recommend are The Mother of All Toddler Books by Ann Douglas, and The Happiest Toddler on the Block by Dr. Harvery Karp. The happiest toddler book is a little silly - some of the suggestions sound kooky and Dr.Karp does like to toot his own horn. But I've found it to be really helpful in dealing with my LO!
