BG 4.0 snaps vs aplix

I know that snaps vs aplix is a preference, but for those of you who use the BG 4.0 with snaps what do you think about them and what do you think about the fit?
If you've used thh 4.0 snaps, have you also used the 4.0 aplix? Which one do you like better?
DH is a SAHD and he likes aplix better than snaps. So I am thinking about buying a few 4.0's. We have some 3.0 aplix right now and DH likes them.
Do you get as good of a fit with the snaps?
I know there is the CD spreadsheet, but I wanted to you ladies to get a larger response on the BG 4.0's.

My Ovulation Chart
TTC #1 since June 2009: irregular cycles
BFP 1/20/10, EDD 9/28/10, born 10/5/10
TTC #2 since Nov 2011:
BFP 2/8/12, MC @ 5 weeks; BFP 3/22/12, MC @ 5 1/2 weeks; BFP 9/10/12, MC @ 6 weeks
Started seeing RE Nov 2012. Chromosomal test and all other tests came back "normal". Unexplained MCs. Found mild hytpothyroidism. Two unmedicated cycles, both BFNs. First medicated cycle (clomid, ovidrel) 1/23/13. Low progesterone found during 9DPO P4 test = 7.6. Put on prometrium supplements.
BFP 2/16/13; 2/18/13 (13 dpo): Beta #1=52.8, progesterone=18.7; estrogen = 412; Dr. increased progesterone dosage.
2/21/13 (16 dpo): Beta #2 = 269; progesterone = 32.4
2/25/13 (20 dpo): Beta #3 = 1,236
2/28/13 (23 dpo): Beta #4 = ?? tbd

I definitely get a better fit with aplix! I feel like DD is between snap sizes right now.
That being said, I am still undecided as to which I like better. Mine are all a month old or less, so I would like to see how well the aplix holds up. I try to take very good care of the diapers because I really want them to last through multiple children, but I just think the snaps will stay nicer longer.
Since they started putting out aplix replacement kits, I decided not to buy anymore of the snaps. I really prefer the aplix, it just gets funky and needs replacing after awhile. I have 3 of the 4.0 in snaps and I don't think they fit as nicely as the aplix. They are handy though, because my DS is in the stage where he thinks it's awesome to pull his diaper off
I just de-stashed a bunch of HP snaps in favor of my BG 3.0 aplix with replacement kits on them now (after 2+ years of use).
