My 19 month onld son was diagnosed with Leukemia in August of 2010 at 13 months, I really want to start potty training him, becauses he seems ready, shoulg I go ahead and train or wait a little bit longer??
I don't have any potty training advice other than if you think he is ready and you are ready to take on something extra, then go for it. It might end up being just one more thing to deal with right now though, and 19 months is traditionally still a little young.
I just spent the last hour reading your blog back to before Christmas. I wish you all the best and cannot imagine the struggle you have enured over the past six months. It is heartbreaking and even imagining my son (or daughter) in the place of Gage in your pictures brought tears to my eyes. He must be an amazing child with amazing parents.
