DD has dry areas on her face and arms, and I would like to try something other than aquaphor during the day... I don't mind the greased up look before bed, but it would be nice to have something more lotiony. any suggestions?

Re: What baby lotion do you use?
I know they're a pain, but creams really are better than lotions. We switched to Eucerin cream at the suggestion of an allergist Henry saw and it's worked WONDERS on his eczema, which is now basically non-existent.
ETA: the allergist told us that most lotions on the market contain alcohol to help them dry on the skin faster, which of course just adds to the dry skin problem over the long term, even if it seems to work in the short term.
I was going to say aquaphor
We have used the Aveeno Sensitive baby lotion. It's not enough for Sam's eczema but it's a nice lotion - unscented and hypoallergenic.

K has a prescription cream for her eczema (Amantle) but the ped recently told us Cetaphil as a new product called Restoraderm that he raved about. We haven't bought it yet because we have a huge tub of the Amantle, but he said he uses it and made me feel his hand as proof of how awesome it is. Ha!
After bath and before bed I rub K down with Aveeno lavender lotion.

We use the Aveeno Eczema cream and it is fabulous! DS has terrible eczema, and for a long time, we couldn't find anything to work on his skin - aside from the amantle cream (which has a mild steroid in it so we didn't want to keep using it). Well, the Aveeno is amazing. We have only needed the steroid cream once in the last month since we found the aveeno cream and DS's skin looks better than ever. We LOVE it (but it is a bit pricey - almost $10 for a small bottle - but it is worth it to us)!

We also use California Baby lotion and soap for this reason.
