DD wont go in crib this week??

She has always been a great sleeper and this week every time we put her in the crib at night she freaks out. we tried to let her cio but it was making her worse. I think the last of her 2year molars are comign in, could this be why?? I tried giving her Tylenol last night but nothing worked! Anyone else having this prob?? (oh and wouldnt take a nap in there yest) which NEVER happens...

Did you try Orajel?   The combo of Orajel and tylenol usually works for us if it's just teething.  Does she have a cold or anything else that would make her not want to lay down?

We went throught this EXACT same thing a few weeks ago. She basically freaked out in her crib.  Flame away, but I put a pillow under her sheet (so really she couldn't suffocate or anything, just gave her some comfort) and it worked wonders!  We also put the dog in her room when we put her down and I think having him in there helped her with some anxiety. (he hated it..and now he's back sleeping in his bed) She wouldn't nap in there either.  It went on for about 3 nights and then stopped.  It was miserable.  Good luck!!!

Going through this right now. I am hoping it is a phase and more of a separation anxiety issue. I have no advice, I just wanted to say I feel your pain and hang in there.

We're going through this right now too.  We're thinking it's separation anxiety because our sitter told us she put the tshirt I had worn to bed last night in the crib with DD today at nap time.  It's the first time in a week that she hasn't screamed when we put her down, and she slept for 2.5 hours. DH tied my shirt up into a little ball about the size of her lovey, and we put it back in the crib tonight.  DD went down no problem.  We'll see how she does when she wakes up in the middle of the night.
