Since Noah has been so sick we bought the Nosefrida and the thing really is great. I thought the blue bulb from the hospital was amazing but the Nosefrida blew it away. He HATES both, with a fiery passion, but at least with the Nosefrida I can get more out at a time, thus having to do it less. This baby has had so much congestion, it is amazing & really sad how much snot he has had. But really, it's insane how much it gets out. I'm glad we got it becauyse I feel it has kept so much from going into his throat/lungs.

Re: Nosefrida is great for stuffy babies
never heard of it, but I am intrigued!
I must try to find one locally.

Because we're fancy like that.
I love the nosefrida! Sounds weird and gross/is awesome!!
And nosefrida + saline is the bestest. Will doesn't agree, but I think so!
it makes me nauseated to think about it...i'm such a wimp about this one item!! wtf is wrong with me? I KNOW that there is actually nothing gross about it...and i caught puke in my hands the other day without batting an eye..but...
lol! I bet I run out and order one after his first bad cold...
Seriously, there really is nothing gross about it! It seems gross, because you would think there is a risk of getting snot in your mouth - there isn't. I think it's cleaner/less gross than any other way to deal with snot. Just my two cents. I would get it now.
Wait until they can hit you and say "No Momma" and scream and hit it out of your hand. I try to tell her I am just doing it to make her feel better.

I'm sure it will only get worse, but Will is pretty strong, so usually I have to get DH to hold him down while I use it. It seems like we're torturing our baby, but we're not. I don't think.
It comes with a few extra filters. I think you can wait on them. (And sorry, AuburnBride, for hijacking this post!)
Oh no worries at all! I was wondering how long the filter would last. I saw that it had extra filters. Do you have to cut them? Haven't looked at them yet.
