The lab manager did it and got it on the first try! He said Ella has very tiny veins but he got it on the first shot! They took SO much blood, but whatever, it is done and over!!!!
that is great it was only 1 prick!! i know the feeling, one time in college I was stuck 6 times in each arm. I finally told them to feel around till they hit a vein. it sucked!!!
ugh blood work is no fun! ?DS still has to get it done every few weeks to test his liver function and bili levels but no where near as often as he had to get it done in the first year! ?I missed your post about it earlier, why did she need bloodwork?

We are doing her allergy testing so she can start table foods.
We went Friday and they tried 4 times and blew all 4 veins, it was awful. I told them I wanted the best they had (the lab manager) and they had one shot. Sure enough, he got it first try.
Allergy testing is a PITA though. It came back all clear for Christopher but he still can't drink milk or soy milk without having really bad gas/diarrhea. But at least it rules out sort of catestophic allergies, right? I think that's how it works.

Now we just wait for the results!
We should hear back by Friday.
HOPEFULLY it will tell us she has no food allergies and she has outgrown her milk allergy
I'm glad it went well!
