If you take the pill and have spotting...

I just went back on the pill this month and am having some breakthrough spotting. I never had this happen before, when you have this spotting how long does it usually last? Does it happen more than once a cycle?

I used to have this all the time when I was on the generic version of my pill...but didn't when i was on regular. It would be on and off through a lot of the cycle.

My friend and I are both experiencing this with generic yasmin. She started making sure she takes it at the same time every day and she said it went away. I miss pills all the time b/c I take for hormonal probs and not necessarily bc and I always forget.
