If your doc had to help you get AF after weaning...

What happened? I weaned DS almost 5 weeks ago and haven't even had a sign of AF or ovulation. I was getting my period around 5 mo PP and all the sudden they stopped when DS was 10 months old. I am definitely not pregnant and just wanted to know what to expect if I went to my OB/GYN. Thanks!

    My OB just had be go back on my BCP and that is what started my AF.

    I weaned Cora when she 8/9 months old, and I nowhere close to normal when it comes to my cycle. I want to get KU, but I do not mind the freedom from AF.

    I weaned DS in October, never got my cycle back, and was pregnant a month later. It can happen!  I have a friend who wants to start trying shortly after she weans and she's already talked to her doc about it.  Her doc said after she weaned they'll start her on the pill for a month or two, get her cycle back, and then have her stop taking the pill.
