Weehuggers or Gen-Y Universal

We're going to be traveling in a couple of months and I was thinking about giving a "flap" cover a try.  I can use my biosoakers during the day (w/o messing with the sticky tape to hold it in place) and use the same cover overnight stuffed with prefolds.  I figured this might be a lightweight way to travel across the country for a week.  Plus, PFs are not terribly expensive so if something happens to them in the hotel washer/dryer, I won't be too upset.

 So, any experience with or preference between Weehuggers and Gen-Y Universals?

We love our weehuggers.. I am not a big fan of the gen-y covers.. I dont like how they snap down.. The weehuggers are a perfect fit on DD..
