first night away from DS

And I am a bit sad. He went with my mom so we could enjoy a day of snowboarding tomorrow so I know he's in good hands and will do great. I'm excited for a night out and day with DH but it feels weird.

that sounds like so much fun! ENjoy every minute of it and i am sure your DS will enjoy himself too!

We did this 2 weeks ago when H and I went on a date. It was soooo nice to get out and very nice to know that we had someone (IL) we could trust to watch him overnight. Have fun!

I had my first night away from DD about three weeks ago for the first time.  It was sooo much fun and relaxing up until my MIL called and told me DD was throwing up.  We had to go home early *sigh*  It was fun while it lasted tho

I know that 1st night away is hard & as much as you want to enjoy yourself you'll be thinking about DS but it's good for you (& good for your mom & DS as well!)

 I 1st left DS with my MIL when he was 7 months old. Since then she watches him overnight about once every 8 weeks or so. It's great for us & she loves it. We call it "Grammie camp."
