I am sad I missed it!  I would have liked to have a convo with some "new" feisty people from another board.  If they only knew the hell that is many of our lives, then they would see that we need...no we REQUIRE...dull and stupid and immature comments and discussions.  It keeps us sane :-)

And how did they not think that skippin' along period free is not odd.  Did I miss something?  I mean, I breastfed for 2 1/2 years...is that what she is trying to say?  But I wasn't period-free for most of that.  Is she on the BCP that skips a period (if so, than I can't stand her for "needing" BC).  Fun times!

To the ticker lady, That was NOT nice of me to say your kid looked like Kermit. My apologies. (however, your original sig pik you had up for critque on a public msg board (HELLO, YOU WERE ASKING IF THE COLOR WAS OFF!!) was quite green in it's tonal nature.)

Honestly someone made a comment about OP's kid which I am sure if it had happened to one of your regulars on our board you all would come to their defense as well. There are some train wrecks on the age boards but we generally try to stay away from that. With that I'm off my little one just woke up.

I missed it too!  I seem to always miss the drama.  I went back and read it, and saw the weird ticker!  What an odd thing to be happy about. I wish there was an app for us to install on others so they understood the hell we go through.

Davezwife - I asked for help with the color of my siggy, because I knew it was green.  I'd tried several times to fix it, and no matter what I did it kept looking green.  So I posted on the Photography board (which I haven't been on for months since joining SPN), asking the usually-helpful ladies to help me with the color.  I was asking for constructive criticism by someone with a calibrated monitor - I wasn't asking someone to make fun of me or my child.

I don't care if you and your friends want to make fun of my ticker.  I didn't put it in my siggy for you, so if you don't "get it" and you want to tease me, by all means go for it.  But leave my daughter out of it.  You know you were wrong to suggest that you and your friends "take turns telling her that her pik makes her kid look like kermit."   You said yourself that it was wrong of you to say it, and I accept your apology.   I get that this is a public message board and anyone can post whatever they want, but as a fellow mother I would've expected you to know better than to say something like that.  I guess I overestimated you.  My bad.

I'm Jewish, so I don't understand what "Christmas on a Cracker" means. And my DD doesn't know how to read yet (she's not even 8 months old), so I don't think I'm setting a bad example when she has no idea what's going on.  But I think the example you're setting for your DD, suggesting that people pick on others and tease them, is just great!

I think any mother would initially be offended by someone saying that a picture makes their kid look like kermit.  I get what she was saying, but her wording sucked.  So yes - at first I was hurt by everyone's posts and threats to stalk me.  I got over it within 2 minutes,  after I got a chance to vent to my friends on my own board, and I wasn't trying to beat a dead horse with my posts a few minutes ago (but apparently I did).  So yeah - my kermit siggy was tongue in cheek.  I want to move past it, and I thought that would help.  Kumbaya, anyone?
