So my OB said today that I'm measring a week behind...she's not worried but said if I'm still here with no baby next Friday and still measuring behind she'll do an ultrasound just to check fluid level. She also told me to be especially conscious of movement this week and to call right away if I notice a decrease. I'm not panicked, but that doesn't sound very reassuring.
Anyone else suddenly measure behind at this stage? I've been right on track (or even measuring ahead) this whole pregnancy.
ETA: I've also lost weight three weeks in a row. She didn't specifically mention that today, and it didn't occur to me until after I'd left the office.

With Brady I went to an appointment and I was measuring 2 weeks ahead...then two weeks later I went to my next appointment and I was measuring a week behind. My OB wasnt too concerned, she said it could just be the position of the baby. When I went back a week later I was back to measuring 2 weeks ahead.
I cant believe you are so close, I feel like that went by so fast!!!
I wasn't measuring small, I was actually right on track as far as measurments at my 37 wk apt but I still had a small baby two days later at (3lbs 11ounces). I didn't have an ultra sound and wish that I pushed for one late in my pregnancy.
Looking back, I wish I went with my gutt..I hadn't been feeling well; terrible migranes, had some decresed movement, and was just sort of icky. My OB wasn't that concerned because I was measuring on track and I still ended up with a little baby. We were luck case everything turned out fine, Jake spent 10 days in the NICU and has made amazing stides
But again, if you are concerned I would speak up and push for that ultra sound just to put your mind at ease. Hope youa re feeling well otherwise and I can't believe you are so close!!
With DD, I was measuring behind in the 3rd tri as well, actually even starting in 2nd tri, about 24 weeks was when things started to slow down. My doctor started me on NST's and u/s every 2 or 3 days beginning at week 30. My fluid was low, but not dangerously low to induce me that early. I kept drinking lots of water and spent a lot of time soaking in my pool each day (although that was in May in AZ). My fluid levels pretty much stayed the same by doing that. Doctor also wanted me to watch the movement very carefully, it was hard because DD just was never much a mover throughout the entire pregnancy but thankfully she always did well on the NST's and u/s.
I was induced at 38 weeks. DD was 5 lbs 2 oz, tiny girl.
