When it rains it pours

Here was my day in chronological order:

-Get home from 12 hour night shift

-Answer phone from my regular doctor's office who says "Your beta is negative and your white count is up.  You need antibiotics."

-Attempt to go to sleep.

-RE nurse calls me back to tell me to continue my meds all weekend on the miniscule chance that beta was wrong.  I tell her she is nuts and then she says, "Well, we can't advise you to stop your meds because WE don't have a record of a negative beta."  Fair enough.

-Attempt to go back to sleep

-DH comes in the room- Patrick is at daycare with a 101 fever and lots of coughing. 

-Patrick gets an x-ray and is diagnosed with a suspected pneumonia (could be leftover from the aspiration pneumonia last summer).  Antibiotocs nonetheless for him again.

-Attempt to go back to sleep.

-Wake up with what I imagine is my first pink eye (eyes killing me, red, crusty).

Who the hell did I piss off???

Who is opening the bar tonight???

Holy crap Lady!!!!  That is terrible.  I really hope you and Patrick feel better soon....and again, I am so sorry about the beta.

Ugh!  I'm so sorry for horrible day.  All the added crap was so not needed.  I'm really hoping your days get brighter. 
(Didn't get to respond to the negative beta post...I'm terribly sorry.)  =(
