Hi there.  I just saw your reply in my Yaz post.  If you don't mind me asking, what kinds of problems did you have?  I had a friend who didn't like it because it made her crazy.  But I haven't had any problems yet.  I was taking it to try to help with migraines, which it hasn't really seemed to make any difference, so I'm definitely not attached to it or anything.

Do you mean you literally can't take BC anymore because of it, or you just don't want to?

I have been advised by my doctors that if I take any hormonal birth control again, I will kill my liver. All because of wonderful Yaz.

I loved being on it, I felt great and had good periods and everything. I gained a few lbs but whatever, right? The thing was before my wedding last year I started getting really bad stomach pain and had an ultrasound of my abdomen done. Totally unrelated to the pain they found huge hemangiomas in my liver, previously totally normal/healthy. They said it was due to the BC I was on, and if I continued it they could worsen, become cancerous, or cause my liver to fail.

So, we're an NFP couple now becuase the convenience of BC is so not worth my liver! HTH

Wow that is scary stuff.  I will have to talk to my doctor about the risks at my next appointment.  I'm a little too scared to do NFP at this point.  But then again, abstinence works too.
