I think I remember you posting about Rex/UNC becoming out-of-network for Aetna patients. We got an e-mail at work today that I thought I would pass along in case it helps. 

Patients can call Aetna and request a transition of care form to apply for continuation of in-network care at UNC/Rex. 

Both UNC and Rex have teams of employees, hotlines and web resources ready to help patients and employers to ease the transition. UNC patients with Aetna insurance may call UNC HealthLink at 1-888-996-2767. The hotline for Rex Aetna patients is 919-784-4500. If you receive any questions from patients or family memebers, please refer them to these hotlines.
