DS came home last night all excited about a science project he did in Kindergarten on the 5 senses. "We got to try this great food at the taste station." The "great food" was.... potato chips. (An example of something "salty.") Previously DS thought chips were multi-grain tortilla chips or Sun Chips. Now he wants to run out and get potato chips for snacks. ("They are the BEST food, mom.")
Potato chips are my weakness. I will eat bags of them if they are around. I guess this was bound to happen sooner or later. I dread the day he discovers soda.
Re: Damn you, Kindergarten Science project
LOL! My boys LOVE Lays potato chips and I buy them on occasion because Lays don't tempt me at all. A bag of Sun Chips, however, I would polish off in a day or two- yum.
As far as soda goes, my boys act like anything with carbonation is poison. They hate it. My neighbors gave them a Juice Squeeze and they were practically in tears after drinking it, promptly spitting it out. I don't worry they'll like soda anytime soon.
