Cloth Diapering

Cloth Wipes Recommendations?

We are in the process of building our diaper stash, but I have no clue where to start with wipes. There are more options than I expected. Can you ladies please recommend your wipes and how you use them (store them in solution, spray and wipe, use dry)? Thanks!

Re: Cloth Wipes Recommendations?

  • The best, and cheapest, option is cheap baby wash cloths.  I store mine dry in a cloth bin, and wet under the water tap as necessary.  I have other questions answered HERE.

I never even saw the FAQ link at the top. My work comp makes links a pale shade of green which blended right in with the header. Thanks so much!

  • We have thirsties wipes, but mostly because we got them as a gift.  I keep them in an old wipes container.  We also got some Thirsties Bootie Spray (I forgot the exact name) and that's what we've been using.  We just spray it on the wipe or on his bum so the wipes are dry in the container.  Once we run out of the spray I'm not sure what we'll do--probably not buy more, just because I know there are more cost-effective ways.
