Whatcha doing for the SuperBowl? I'm admittedly not really a football fan, but DH is a huge cheesehead and we're going to watch at a friend's house. I'm making slow-roasted pork carnitas and lettuce wraps!

Going to a friend's after a newborn session. She gave me the rundown of the menu and I'm freaking excited!

It would be like breathing poisonous gas for me to cheer for the Packers. I'm just hoping for a good game!

Entertaining here.  We turned our basement into a home theater/bar so ours is the place to be for games/races/movies etc.

no plans, though my husband will watch it because he loves football. i'm still bitter about the bears loss, so if they could both lose, i'd be happy. One is a team I loathe, another is headed by a rapist. Evil vs Evil.

DH and his family are die-hard Green Bay fans, so I've become a fan by default (#1 in my heart will always be my pitiful Broncos though) Go Packers!!!

I work Sundays, so....I'll be catching scores online and hoping for clips of commercials I can watch.  Not that I'm a huge football fan or am rooting for one team or another, but it IS the Superbowl!

My dad is a big cheesehead and he always makes this awesome cheese dip so I'll probably go there and eat until I can't anymore

Not a thing.  It's like a cricket match in India to me- meaningless.  I used to watch a ton of Longhorn football and basketball when I was in school, but I can't get into pro sports.

H is sulking around the house because it isn't the Supah Bowl and just the Super Bowl (he is a Patriots fan).

I on the other hand am super happy!  Yahoo, H will not be glued to the TV!

We are rooting for the Packers though, because well, we hate the Steelers.

I grew up in Connecticut and naturally I am a patriots fan, although I have gotten bitter about football since they changed the super bowl weekend to coincide with my birthday (next year it will be my birthday) but it is hard to admit being a patriots fan after their....embarassing...last game.

I work til 6pm so wont get home til close to 6:30 so probably nothing. DH might have a few guys over or he might go out.

DH and I have been invited by one of his coworkers to a Superbowl party.  I've already been told that I'll be one of 2 packer fans in a house full of Steelers fans. 

I plan to wear my packer sweatshirt (since I don' t own a jersey).

This. Actually, all of this. I am a Pats fan too, and def. rooting for the Packers to beat the Steelers. Mostly, just SOOO freaken glad the Jets lost!

I'm going to watch the game, cheer for the Packers, and continue to wish I could still live in Milwaukee (as I do all the time), which will always be my hometown. Go Pack!!!

Too funny, I grew up in MA and was a quasi Pats fan (I grew up in a die hard baseball household), but I have married into (and moved to) Steelers Country, so go Steelers! And the superbowl occasionally fell on my bday too (2 years ago I think it was the day after), but they have moved it forward a week I guess so I don't know if that will happen anymore.

Party at our house.  DH is a Packer fan (from WI).  So we are really excited.

(I get to spend all day cleaning tomorrow....not so excited.  He just had knee surgery, so he can't help)

Yup, he's a rapist... I hate him, but I always have (for stupid reasons). It's one good thing I have going for me - I wasn't so shocked he'd be such a dimwit with his celebrity. That being said, he is a really good QB, it just sucks he's so dumb with his personal life choices. 

However, GO STEELERS!!! I grew up in Pittsburgh and am all things Pittsburgh. I miss it, especially when I'm surrounded by bitter Browns fans up in here Cleveland (as well as married to one).

We are having a couple friends over to watch the game.  Unfortunately I'll be the only Packer fan there, but such is life as a cheesehead in Chicago.

YAY, us too!! We are having a party at our house with family. Lots of great appetizers and food in general! We love to entertain and always have too much food, but it's always fun and will be even better that we're cheering on our favorite team!
