valentine's day gift ideas for DH

I know this is not related to pregnancy, but I am just interested in what everyone is thinking of getting their DH for valentine's day....I cannot say I have ever gotten my DH a gift, but I thought I might surprise him this year since he would not expect it(plus I some extra cash squirreled away for it). Any ideas because I have no clue...his bday is next month so I wanted something different than a "typical" gift....

    I'm making him a very nice dinner, served up in front of the fireplace with a PG wife wearing crotchless pantyhose Smile

    He's doing the taxes.

    I'm glad you posted this.  I'm wondering what to do for DH too.  

    My only idea right now is to take him on a day-date to Houston.  He's a huge science nerd, so I'm thinking of leaving DD with my mom and surprising him with a trip to the Museum of Natural History and letting him geek out for a while day while I (for once) don't complain about wanting to go get some tacos and can we please get out of here?

    Last year I made chocolate covered Oreos and DH loved them! I think I might do the same thing this year and make sure he is "satisfied" later. :) We don't really go all out for Valentine's Day (especially since my birthday is 5 days later). We just make a point to spend the day together if at all possible.

    What I did for my H, then BF was that I got this jar from hobby lobby, decorated it and then filled it with little pieces of red,pink, and white papers. On the papers there were quotes, memories, and "coupons". I think this would be cute especially with a LO on the way. Coupons can be anything from "a day off to be by yourself", "one free lap dance", "night out with the guys, no questions asked", "night without waking up for LO", etc. I gave this to my BF at the time and he loved it, thought it was thoughtful and its great that he still has it in his office just sitting there. 

    I wanted to be creative instead of just the regular "nice dinner" since I always make dinner and it doesn't make it that much special when I make it with candlelight, just NMS. Hope you enjoy!
